❖ Develop a solution which will address the needs set out by the Organization &
Government for the development of previously disadvantaged individuals through
various training initiatives and setting them up for future employment.
❖ Address scarce skills identified by the SETA within the industry.
❖ Assist in the development of the WSP that will not only be beneficial for employees but
also those outside the industry who have the ambition to enter the business.
❖ Identify external training providers.
❖ Liaise with the SETA on behalf of the business for any potential funding opportunities.
❖ The model will not only address the training needs but would also address Social
Responsibility. The focus of the programme has been predominantly on previously
disadvantaged females but can have a focus on males as well where necessary.
